Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon

Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon Posted on July 17, 2018Leave a comment

Margaret River has a climate with enough similarities to Bordeaux that in amongst the multitude of grape varieties to be found there, the Western Australian region produces some excellent and elegantly styled Cabernet Sauvignon. Made by one of Australia’s large family producers, the Ringbolt is good value too.

There is a fresh mint note that lifts the typical blackcurrant, tobacco and cedar aromas. The palate is complex with some spicy oak support to it. The texture is smooth and the intense flavours last long into the next mouthful. A wine to enjoy with or without food. A cracker for the price!
